Board of Directors Meeting – Minutes

A brief meeting was held on January 17, 2004 at Queen Creek, Arizona. 

Members present:  Don Atchison (Rex), Dae Williams (Mini Rex), Pat Mareska (Tan), Gina Layton (PRBA), Rachel Roehe (Holland Lop), Tim Roehe (NARBA) Joan Stewart (Mini Lop), Nancy Davis (Cavy), Wenton Carlton (Dutch), Jeremy Collins (Netherland Dwarf).  Judy Atchison presiding.

The election of the President and Vice President of the Association was the only issue considered.

In accordance with the Association By-laws:

 “If an office receives only one (1) qualified candidate for that office, the Board of Directors shall declare the candidate the winner of that particular office.  No election expense shall be incurred for election to the unopposed office.”

Since only one qualified candidate applied for the offices of President and Vice President. The Board of Directors voted to declare Wenton Carlton President of the Association and Bob Peterson Vice President of the Association.
